Residential development where the scope of the project is the construction of three blocks of reinforced concrete frame of varying storey heights, with a part ground floor undercroft, ground floor amenities and all associated siteworks including drainage and car parking. The building is to be procured under a Design and Build contract and the level of design is equivalent to RIBA Stage E (Final Proposals). Our services included the preparation and submission of a fully detailed Bill of Quantities measured in accordance with the standard method of measurement SMM7 for the substructures and drainage elements of the project. The substructures consisted of 600mm diameter Bored InSitu reinforced concrete piles, RC pile caps, ground beams and ground floor with a 300mm thick piling mat. The drainage element was split between that inside the building and outside, with attenuation tank, petrol interceptor, precast concrete ring and brick manholes.
